July 1966 marked the occasion of the retirement of  H.A. Nelson after thirty seven years of dedicated service to The Wireless College.  Affectionately nicknamed by the College Students as 'Tubby' he was responsible for the Morse training of countless Radio Officers across the years. Now sadly silent key, he remains to this day one of the highest regarded and best remembered Instructors of the College.
